Job Title: Site Manager - Façades (Re-Cladding Projects)\n\nLocation: Brighton, UK\n\nRate / Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum or £300 per day (contract option)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nOur client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee façade and re-cladding projects based in Brighton. This is a key site-based role responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of external envelope works on live construction projects.\n\nThe successful candidate must have proven experience in re-cladding schemes and be confident managing complex site activities within occupied or live environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage day-to-day site operations for façade and re-cladding works\nSupervise subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification\nCoordinate site activities in line with project programme and construction sequencing\nEnsure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and site procedures\nConduct site inspections and quality checks throughout installation phases\nLiaise with project managers, design teams, and client representatives\nManage site documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reports\nResolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain progress\nEnsure compliance with UK building regulations and project specifications\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience as a Site Manager within façades, cladding, or external envelope projects\nStrong background in re-cladding schemes (essential)\nExperience working on live sites, occupied buildings, or complex refurbishment projects\nGood understanding of façade systems, including rainscreen cladding and associated components\nStrong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site compliance\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nValid CSCS card (SMSTS preferred)\n\nDesirable Experience\n\nExperience delivering large-scale re-cladding or remediation projects\nBackground in façades, curtain walling, or external refurbishment\nFirst Aid at Work qualification\nExperience working with Tier 1 or specialist subcontractors\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nStrong leadership and decision-making skills\nProactive and solutions-focused approach\nHigh attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety\nAble to manage multiple site priorities under pressure\nStrong organisational and communication skills\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary up to £55,000 or £300 per day contract rate\nOpportunity to work on high-profile re-cladding projects in Brighton\nLong-term pipeline of specialist façade works\nSupportive and experienced project delivery team\nClear opportunities for continued project-based work and progression
