Senior Leasehold Manager\n\nLocation: Farringdon, Croydon, or Sittingbourne (Hybrid)\nContract: 3-month rolling contract (potential extension)\nRecruiter: Aatom Recruitment (on behalf of a Local Authority)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAatom Recruitment is seeking a Senior Leasehold Manager to join a local authority client. Reporting to the Head of Property Management, you will lead on leasehold strategy, compliance, and complex casework across a residential portfolio.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Provide expert oversight on leasehold management, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice\n\n * Lead on complex legal matters including First-tier Tribunal cases, service charge disputes, and lease variations\n\n * Interpret lease terms relating to service charges, repairs, and landlord/tenant obligations\n\n * Manage Section 20 consultations and ensure service charge compliance\n\n * Oversee RTM claims and support enfranchisement processes\n\n * Manage and review tribunal submissions and evidential documentation\n\n * Monitor managing agent performance and ensure adherence to RICS standards\n\n * Support compliance with the Building Safety Act and related requirements\n\n * Lead and support a team of leasehold professionals\n\n * Provide advice, risk analysis, and reporting to senior stakeholders\n\nSkills and Experience\n\n * Strong knowledge of UK leasehold law, case law, and tribunal processes\n\n * Proven experience managing complex leasehold portfolios and disputes\n\n * Experience with service charges, RTM, and enfranchisement\n\n * Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills\n\n * Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure\n\n * Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems\n\nQualifications\n\n * Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience\n\n * GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths\n\n * Full UK driving licence or ability to travel\n\nDesirable:\nProfessional membership (TPI or RICS), knowledge of building safety legislation, and experience with MRI (Orchard)\n\nWhy Apply?\n\n * Hybrid working flexibility\n\n * Opportunity to lead on complex, high-profile leasehold matters\n\n * Potential contract extension
