This role is suitable for individuals with proven experience in supporting children, including those with additional learning needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges, within a school setting.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Provide comprehensive classroom support to teachers and pupils, fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.\n\n * Support children with additional learning needs (ALN) and behaviours that may present challenges.\n\n * Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans and behaviour management strategies.\n\n * Aid in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.\n\n * Contribute to maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom atmosphere.\n\n * Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other colleagues to meet the diverse needs of pupils.\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * Proven experience working in an educational environment supporting children.\n\n * Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and ALN.\n\n * Strong communication and teamwork skills.\n\n * Adaptability to different classroom environments and teaching styles.\n\n * Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to supporting student development.\n\n * Available for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.\n\nThis Primary School Teaching Assistant role in Cardiff offers an engaging environment for professionals passionate about education and inclusive practice.
