We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and forward-thinking Occupational Health provider, who are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join their team based in Greater Manchester.\n\n This is a full-time, permanent position combining clinic-based work with regular travel to client sites using a fully equipped mobile medical unit, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role.\n\n Role Overview:\n You will work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver a full range of Occupational Health services to a diverse client base. This role involves both clinic and on-site work, with travel forming a key part of your responsibilities (paid within working hours).\n\n Key duties include:\n\nCase management assessments and management referrals\nHealth surveillance (spirometry, audiometry, HAVS)\nAdministering vaccinations in line with the Green Book\nDrug and alcohol screening\nDSE and workplace health assessments\nDelivering wellbeing clinics and health promotion initiatives\nMaking autonomous clinical decisions and referrals\nManaging medical stock, vaccines, and equipment safely\nMaintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring GDPR compliance\nSupporting junior staff and contributing to team development\nParticipating in internal meetings and service improvementYou will also be responsible for travelling to client sites, operating a mobile medical unit, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a variety of workplace settings.\n\n Person Specification:\n\nRegistered Nurse (NMC)\nMinimum 2 years’ Occupational Health experience\nCompetent in spirometry, audiometry, HAVS, phlebotomy, and vaccinations\nFull, clean UK driving licence\nWillingness to travel regularly to client sites\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and manage workload effectively\nExperience implementing clinical protocols and guidelinesBenefits:\n\nCompetitive salary\nCompany pension and life assurance\nCycle-to-work scheme and discounted gym membership\nFree eye tests and flu jab vouchers\nStaff referral scheme\n22 days annual leave plus bank holidaysThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and expanding Occupational Health team, offering a varied role with strong development potential.
