Nursery Practitioner

Luma Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 qualified) to join our warm, family-feel team in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where every member of staff is valued and supported.\n\nYou will work across our nursery rooms, caring for children from babies through to preschool age playing a vital role in their early development, learning, and wellbeing every single day.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\n\n * Providing high-quality care and early education for children aged 0–5\n\n * Working confidently across baby, toddler, and preschool rooms\n\n * Planning and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate activities\n\n * Observing and tracking children's progress and developmental milestones\n\n * Building warm, trusting relationships with children and their families\n\n * Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit, supportive team\n\n * Ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all children at all times\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\n * A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)\n\n * Experience working with children from birth to 5 years\n\n * Comfortable and confident across all age groups, including babies\n\n * A genuine passion for early childhood education and development\n\n * Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude\n\n * Knowledge of the EYFS framework\n\n * A current Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)\n\n * A current paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
