Job Title: LGV C+E Wagon & Drag Drivers\n\n Location: Doncaster, Armthorpe\n\n Salary:  £ 19.03 - £23.00\n\n Contract Type:  Temporary / Ongoing\n\nPertemps are recruiting Class 1 Drivers (W+D) to work on behalf of our most prestigious client who are global market leaders in the logistics industry.  Our client is based in Doncaster and supplies a logistical support operation to one of Britain’s largest retailers transporting products all across the country and are the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses.\n\nDuties include:\n\nWagon & Drag trunking runs to RDCs\n\nMaking sure loads are safely secured.\n\nCarrying out daily vehicle checks\n\nFollowing traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.\n\nCompleting delivery paperwork and log books.\n\n An ideal Class 1 Driver will have the following skills and experience:\n\nHeld LGV C+E licence for minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 points and free from serious endorsements for insurance purposes.\n\nValid CPC Card /DIGI card.\n\nExperience trunking, shunting and artic store delivery.\n\nNewly passed drivers accepted - Terms and conditions apply\n\nThis is a 7 day operation.  Daily start times vary which can include afters & evening shifts.  Weekly rotas are also available to suit the individual’s needs.  \n\nIn return the Class 1 Driver will receive the following rates of pay:\n\nNights – Monday to Friday                       £19.03\n\nSaturday (all hours)                                  £ 20.00 \n\nSunday / Bank Holiday (all hours)            £ 23.00\n\nAll Minimum 11 hours pay\n\nPlease apply online if you feel you possess the skills and experience required for this role
