This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience, develop behaviour management skills, and explore a future career in education.\n\nThe school is looking for a proactive, patient, and supportive individual who can work with students across a range of abilities and needs.\n\n📌 CONTRACT DETAILS\n\nLocation - Colchester\n\nPosition - Graduate Teaching Assistant\n\nType of work - Classroom support & intervention\n\nStart date - ASAP\n\nDuration - Ongoing / Long‑term\n\nFull time/part‑time - Full time\n\nMinimum rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)\n\nHours - 8:30 am - 3:30/4:00 pm\n\n📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS\n\nA degree in any subject\n\nExperience working with young people (desirable but not essential)\n\nUp‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable)\n\nA genuine interest in education and supporting student progress\n\n✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:\n\nHold Right to Work in the UK\n\nHold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one\n\nProvide two professional or character references\n\n💼 OTHER INFORMATION\n\nIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up‑to‑date CV.
