Event Sales Manager

Job Description

OVERVIEW

Following the announcement of a joint venture between Broadwick and Smart Group to develop an exciting new catering brand, we are recruiting for an Event Sales Manager to join the team ahead of our September 2026 launch. The brand name and identity will be revealed in July 2026.

The new business will operate as the exclusive food and beverage partner across Broadwick’s London portfolio, spanning venues including 26 Leake Street, Banking Hall, Broadwick Studio, Control Room A, Drumsheds, Exhibition White City, Landing Canary Wharf, Landing Forty Two, Magazine London, OXO2, The Pelligon and Troxy — a portfolio that hosts more than 2,500 events annually.

The Event Sales Manager will be a key member of the commercial team, taking ownership of a portfolio of venues and responsible for converting enquiries, managing client relationships and overseeing the planning of events through to completion. This is a hands-on, sales-led role with a strong focus on revenue generation, account management and delivering an outstanding client experience.

This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new business at the very start, helping to shape how it goes to market and set the standard for client experience from day one.

  • Whilst this is a sales-led role, for approximately a third of your events you will also maintain client communication, plan the event and deliver it onsite with the operations team. Responsibilities across this will include:

  • Ensure clear and detailed handover to operations to support smooth delivery on site

CRM, Data and Reporting

  • Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date, ensuring all enquiries, proposals and client activity are logged consistently
  • Provide regular updates on your pipeline and performance to support the wider team’s reporting and forecasting
  • Ensure Finance has the information required for each confirmed event, including final numbers, revenue and any changes to scope

  • Experience in a sales or commercial role within catering, hospitality or events
  • Comfortable managing the full client journey from enquiry through to event delivery, including planning and on-site presence
