The Engineer (Structures) role provides professional civil and structural engineering expertise to support the delivery of the Structures capital programme, including bridge maintenance, strengthening and improvement works across Perth and Kinross.
\nThe post holder will be responsible for planning, designing, procuring and delivering structures projects from inception to completion, operating within statutory, technical and corporate frameworks. The role is primarily based at Pullar House, Perth, with regular site visits across the council area.
\nThere may be a requirement to supervise, coordinate and support technical staff, including technicians, as allocated. This will include providing technical guidance, supporting work planning, and contributing to effective team delivery.
\n The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of bridges and structures, contribute directly to the delivery of an expanded capital investment programme, and develop professionally within a structured local authority environment, supported by a Senior Engineer (Structures).
