The role will be based at our Bradford office, but the successful candidate will be required to travel to client premise. Occasional travel to our other offices will also be required.ResponsibilitiesLine Manage the technical and operational activities of the 6 Employment Law Consultants and Advisors within the team, supporting them as necessary and assisting them with complex client cases.Support the Operations Director in delivering the vision, strategic planning management and growth of the business.Provide high quality advice and assistance on all aspects of employment law via telephone, email and on site.Produce contracts of employment, service level agreements and employee handbooks tailored to our clients needs.Draft all relevant supporting documentation relating to employment law/employee relations matters, such as letters and memosAttend client premise to discuss complex matters face to face, or attend disciplinary, grievance or other employee related meetings as necessary to take the notes and support the client.Prepare for and represent clients at Employment Tribunal and negotiate and draft settlement agreements.Keep accurate and up to date records of all advice given on the case management systemDevise and deliver employment law training and update sessions for clients and prospects as necessary.To support growth of Jelf Risk Management through prospecting, marketing and networking.Essential experience and skills requiredMinimum of 5 years experience working within employment lawLaw degree and LPC or equivalent qualifications. A legal masters degree would be desirable.
