School Business Manager - Cardiff Full Time - 37hours pw Start Date - ASAP Starting Salary - TBC based on experience Academics are looking to recruit a school business manager for a busy school located in Cardiff. The school strives to ensure that everyone in the school is happy, healthy, safe & successful, ensuring equality of opportunity for all. The Role and Expectations

The role of the school business manager will be to support the Head teacher in operating, maintaining and developing procedures and systems of the school in an effective and efficient way. The successful candidate will also be responsible in organising, maintain and monitoring the school's financial, pupil and personnel records. The role of the school business manager is varied between, administration, personnel management, financial management, facilities management & all round general school management; therefore the ideal candidate will be confident in managing a heavy work load. You will be expected to attend Governing Body meetings to contribute to, advise and present reports. You will also be responsible for the effective management of financial administration procedures, including responsibility for compliance with financial regulations and to liaise with Auditors.
The successful candidate will be confident in preparing estimates of income and expenditure for the Headteacher & Governing Body and will also be confident when feeding this back. If you think you're suited for the role or would like more information please contact the Academics team on or email
