To help these professionals perform at their very best, we need a Divisional Delivery Support Officer to provide efficient, helpful assistance.
If you enjoy teamwork and have strong IT skills, you could play a key role in our DDS (Divisional Delivery Support) function. This vital function supports over 80 specialists at our Cheltenham site, including Nuclear Safety Inspectors and other senior experts.
Working as part of a dedicated four-strong team, you’ll be the first point of contact for all support functions including; the preparation of documents, the organisation of meetings and capturing the outcomes in the form of note or action points. You’ll also welcome visitors, manage correspondence, email inboxes and maintain medical files. Supporting our Transport Inspectors and Licensing Team, whilst keeping the office running smoothly are the key elements of this role.
Organised, computer-literate and always ready to help, you’ll be good with people and brilliant in a team. Reliable and with a good eye for detail you’ll be able to adapt quickly handling multiple priorities while adhering to process standards and requirements. Ideally, you’ll bring previous office experience and knowledge of Health & Safety, but what matters most is a positive attitude and strong communication skills. If you have at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) including English at grade C or above, you could soon be working alongside some of our most important professionals.
We offer competitive salaries at the ONR, with these roles attracting a salary of £19,356 to £21,781. In addition, up to £15,000 relocation may be available. Furthermore, you’ll be eligible for a substantial Civil Service Pension scheme (including ill-health retirement and lump sum family benefits). Plus, you’ll receive a very generous holiday entitlement.
