An experienced site manager is required to join the team at one of the UK's fastest expanding private house builders with sites across the North West and Yorkshire. You will need a can do attitude, tireless work ethic and commercial minded approach to house building. Your role will include the following duties: - Assisting the purchasing department with the procurement of local subcontractors, plant hire and materials. - Daily management of both their own in house site operatives and external subcontractors. - Maximising on site performance to ensure that their ambitious programme of works is met and costs do not over-run. - Carrying out daily quality checks of contractors work and ensuring the highest possible standards are met. - Assisting the QS Department with booking in payments for subcontractors. - Attending on site meetings with warranty providers, building control, health and safety consultants, structural engineers and various other external professionals. - To enable you to perform the above duties they feel the following is required: Minimum 5 years management of new build housing sites. Awareness of costs and timescales. Salary, benefits and interview information: - £40,000 per annum. - Car allowance or company vehicle - Mobile phone and day to day expenses paid. - Sites are across the North West and West Yorkshire. Interviews will take place at the company Head Office in Darwen, Lancashire. This is an urgent requirement.
