This role is mobile working at a local level to support construction businesses to have access to the people, skills and training they require through key partnerships, collaborations and networks across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. This will mean engaging and identifying opportunities for collaborative working with employer groups, training providers and stakeholders.
Forging strong relationships with a wide range of people and organisations, you will be instrumental in attracting people to enter the construction sector. You’ll play a key role in boosting a positive image of the sector, supporting the industry to develop by acquiring and developing the skills it needs.
You will do this in a range of different ways - from building partnerships and developing solutions - through to working on collaborative projects to enable the delivery of training in innovative ways to meet the needs of local employers.
Educated to a minimum of A Level (or equivalent) you are a creative, innovative thinker with a track record of encouraging others to adopt new ways of working with a range of different stakeholders and partners. You’ll bring to the role good knowledge of education and skills programmes and their funding mechanisms. We expect you to have experience of managing and delivering successful projects in a collaborative way. Experience of delivering inspiring presentations, organising events and business planning is essential. Your flair for building relationships and influencing people at a senior level really sets you apart.
Frequent travel across local areas and Great Britain will be a requirement of the role.
