AdministratorLocation: CambridgeContract Duration: 6 monthsRemuneration: CompetitiveOur client is recruiting a temporary Administrator to join their team.The team is a cutting-edge, global scientific group within our clients Biotech unit. As a key member of the Administration Team, you'll be using your excellent organisational skills to enable our talented scientists and experts to focus on science to deliver medicines to patients. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and varied role within our team. You will report into the team Business Manager, working in a team of 5, and your focus will be on providing high quality and professional administration support to senior managers across the department. This will include:Diary managementCoordinating internal and external meetingsManaging complex travel arrangementsDealing with expensesSupporting other general administration requests.You'll become an expert user across key business systems and tools and provide a professional point of contact for the department.Main duties and responsibilitiesAdministrative support to management and the wider team.Supporting the Business Manager and team of PAs (based in Cambridge and Internationally) to ensure an effective support service across the whole unit.Coordinating internal and external meetings so that they run smoothly, including scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available (using virtual meeting software).Managing the appointments and schedules of some staff in the unit and making travel arrangements to make best use of their timeSupporting collation and preparation of documentation for meetings Arranging complex business travel arrangements and expense reporting for senior members of the team.Essential requirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a proven successful track record operating as an Administrator, whilst having the ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and build networks.A professional, confident, and proactive approach, with the ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.Good organisational, forward-planning, team-working skills, with attention to detailAbility to work independently, and flexibly to adapt to changing situations.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office web-based programmes.Preferred requirementsInfluencing skills with ability to engage with peopleExperience of working in a global organisation; with the ability to work across boundaries and different culturesChampion of efficient and effective processesApply now to join us and help turn ideas into life changing medicines!Hays Talent Solutions is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
