First Line Manager – Doncaster - 22k neg
Our clients who are a prestigious national logistics / warehouse company based in Doncaster are looking for a first line manager. The candidate would be responsible for the running of the warehouse and administration function in its entirety.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide direction for their team, and able to ensure that all their staff clearly understand the goals and targets.
You would need to have an appreciation and be able to consider the impact on costs, when making decisions regarding the staff and hours used. You would also be able to identify opportunities to decrease costs, grow revenue and maximise profit, also whilst ensuring the shifts deliver a quality service, matched to the customer requirements
You would also need to have a strong customer service ethic, and be able to deal with customer enquiries promptly and effectively, but most of all professionally.
You would also have to build a strong team, which could function and perform at an exceptional level at all times.
You would be expected to have had previous experience in a similar role, with key skills as second nature such as organisational skills, interpersonal leadership, motivational and planning skills, also excellent communication both written and verbal.
